The ‘Scarlet Ovation’ Huckleberry is a new form of blueberry selected for its rich red new growth and compact habit. It requires less maintenance in the landscape and makes for a fuller plant in the container as well. Cross pollination is not required, a single blueberry shrub will produce fruit. However, a larger crop will result if more than one blueberry in planted in the same area
