This heather is one of the best for beautiful spring color. Its dark green stems explode with glowing red, orange new growth that fades to a bright primrose yellow. Gradually this cheerful spring color will develop to a rich dark green in early summer. In late summer, pale lavender spires of flowers cover the upright mounding plant.
